Critical Language Scholarship

The Critical Language Scholarship Program provides American undergraduate and graduate students with an immersive summer experience abroad, spending 8 to 10 weeks studying languages essential to America’s global engagement through intensive study institutes. The program covers the cost of airfare, visa fees, housing, meals, classroom instruction, cultural programming, and group trips.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completed two semesters of study prior to start of program.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited U.S. degree-granting program or graduating senior.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or national.
